This Hi-Beat 36000 watch shares the same Evolution 9 design as the famous 'White Birch' SLGH005, but comes with a black dial that captures the atmosphere of the white birch forests on the Hiraniwa Plateau at night. These forests cover approximately 400 hectares and are located near the studio in Shizukuishi where all Grand Seiko mechanical watches are made. Their powerful hands and prominent, fluted markers ensure perfect legibility. Their distortion-free, mirror-finish Zaratsu polish and delicate matte finish alternate to give the case a calm and harmonious luster.
