GALA 185TH ANNIVERSARY UNION SUIZA

Union Suiza capped off its 185th-anniversary year with an exclusive gala held at the Llotja de Mar in Barcelona; an event that brought together 185 prominent guests from Catalan society and was attended by the entire Vendrell family, as well as the company's CEO, Daniel Rossinés.

The celebration became the ideal setting to award the prize for the winning piece of the "185th Anniversary Commemorative Jewel" competition.

Ultimately, the winning design was "Trilogía," the creative proposal by Pia Capdevila, a ring designed to be worn every day, paying homage to Union Suiza's 185 years of history, reinterpreting the values of elegance and timelessness with an eye towards the future.

Trilogía will become part of Union Suiza's jewelry collection, and 10% of its sales price will be donated to the Sant Joan de Deu foundation.

The evening revolved around a specialized presentation by astronomer Josep Maria Trigo Rodríguez, who guided attendees through the lunar cycle and explained the extraordinary precision with which this astronomical phenomenon is represented in watchmaking. His intervention helped to understand the scientific complexity hidden behind an apparently delicate indication, creating a natural and deep connection with the Patek Philippe pieces presented during the event. On March 7th, we had the opportunity to present the Presage collection by Seiko at Union Suiza Barcelona. Seiko has launched four limited edition models from the Presage Craftsmanship series to commemorate the 110th anniversary of Seiko wristwatches. Each model features a dial made using a traditional Japanese technique. In the presentation, we featured a brief explanation from Santiago Tejedor of Hora y Minutos about the strong relationship that Japanese culture has with the brand. In addition, a sake tasting was held, allowing us to learn more about this traditional Japanese beverage. 07-03-2024

At AutoBello Madrid, we couldn't miss the Swiss brand Frederique Constant, where we were able to showcase all of the brand's new products launched in 2022. "A true toy garden for grown-ups," is how the organizers describe this event, held at the elegant La Casa de Mónica. This year's event brought together a large crowd, including some customers of our Union Suiza establishment at Gran Vía 26 in Madrid. The day began with a cocktail reception, allowing us to observe the various contests taking place, followed by dinner and the awards ceremony. There was also a raffle for the Frederique Constant Vintage Rally watch among event attendees who registered at the booth. 26-06-2022

The Terramar Golf Club in Sitges was the setting for a new edition of AutoBello Barcelona, an event where high-performance cars, both classic and modern, take center stage. Frederique Constant and Union Suiza were also present with their car and watch-loving guests, who were able to showcase the Geneva-based manufacturer's watches on the golf course green, such as the successful new Highlife collection. A Frederique Constant VINTAGE RALLY HEALEY AUTOMATIC watch was also raffled off, a limited edition of 888 pieces inspired by the legendary Austin Healey car brand. The day concluded with a dinner for all the guests, followed by the distribution of prizes for various competitions, including a raffle for a Frederique Constant watch. 23-06-2022

On June 8th, the 4th edition of Fundació MACBA's "SALIR DEL MACBA" was held, where Union Suiza and Misui were present, collaborating and providing gifts to guests. It was a very special evening that brought together more than 200 people, including figures from the worlds of art, literature, design, architecture, and communications. Participants had a first course in one house, a second in another, and ended at MACBA for dessert, coffee, and drinks in the museum's atrium, sharing their experiences with the rest of the guests. 15-06-2022

The 109th edition of the CSIO Barcelona was held on the weekend of October 1-3, with the participation of the world's best riders. Guests were able to see the jewelry brand's collections in person, a brand with a polished image, an international spirit, and contemporary, feminine, and flattering designs. During the evening, everyone who wanted an earlobe piercing was offered the chance, attracting many attendees.
