The 44GS, the watch launched in 1967 that was the first to fully embody the Grand Seiko style, has evolved into a modern model with contemporary practicality. The SBGW297 is a hand-wound mechanical model featuring the smallest case diameter in the 44GS range: 36.5 mm. This watch is designed to be easy to wear thanks to its moderate size and comfortable bracelet. The slim, compact case and multifaceted diamond-cut indexes shine beautifully and harmonize with the refined white dial, enhancing legibility. A box-shaped crystal protects the dial and lends warmth to the design, further connecting the watch with its mid-century predecessor.
