PATHS OF MEMORY

A Dialogue Between Painting and Jewelry

I have had to delve into my painting to find the elements that connect it to the paths Union Suiza has forged during its 185 years dedicated to high jewelry.

And on this journey into my work, the stroke, the brushwork, appears to me again and again: a coming and going through space that inspires a coming and going through time.

And I've imagined the female décolletage as the best canvas to draw paths with so much history: delicate lines of acrylic paint on paper that have turned into gold on the skin.
