PATEK PHILIPPE MOON PHASES
On January 29, Unión Suiza hosted a very special event with Patek Philippe, conceived for a select group of the Maison's clients. It was an exclusive experience with a clear objective: to highlight one of Haute Horlogerie's most poetic complications, moon phases, as a meeting point between astronomy, timekeeping, and watchmaking heritage.
The evening revolved around a specialized presentation by astronomer Josep Maria Trigo Rodríguez, who guided attendees through the lunar cycle and explained the extraordinary precision with which this astronomical phenomenon is represented in watchmaking. His intervention helped to understand the scientific complexity hidden behind an apparently delicate indication, creating a natural and deep connection with the Patek Philippe pieces presented during the event.
The experience took place in an intimate, exclusive, and discreet setting, where cultural content, scientific dissemination, and the presentation of watches coexisted organically, creating a natural dialogue between knowledge and emotion.
A meeting that reinforced the perception of Patek Philippe as a Maison that goes beyond watchmaking, offering much more than exceptional pieces: culture, precision, and high-value experiences, built on craftsmanship, heritage, and a vision of time that transcends generations.

THE ART OF TIME IN CHOCOLATE: A SENSORY EXPERIENCE WHERE TIME IS SAVORED
On December 18, a select group of clients experienced a unique evening at the Unión Suiza Boutique in Barcelona, located on Via Augusta. Under the concept "The Art of Time in Chocolate," the experience offered a new way to approach the world of Patek Philippe haute horlogerie: through the senses, emotion, and craftsmanship.
Designed as an intimate and exclusive gathering, the evening focused on time as a legacy, artisanal excellence, and the beauty of detail—values that define Patek Philippe's creations and, on this occasion, were translated into a creative sensory language.
The experience was developed in collaboration with Ephemera Chocolates, resulting in a creative journey where chocolate became a medium of artistic expression. Through a guided tasting and the creation of a symbolic chocolate "time sphere," clients explored the parallels between the work of a master chocolatier and a watchmaker: precision, patience, technical mastery, and absolute attention to detail.
During the evening, carefully selected Patek Philippe watches were presented, whose finishes, calibers, and dials naturally conversed with the artisanal discourse of chocolate, reinforcing the idea that time, when created with excellence, transcends functionality to become art.
The Art of Time in Chocolate highlighted that time is not just measured, but felt. Through the precision of Patek Philippe watches and an evening designed to slow down the pace, clients were able to connect with the value of detail, craftsmanship, and what truly endures over time.

GALA 185TH ANNIVERSARY UNIÓN SUIZA
Unión Suiza capped off its 185th-anniversary year with an exclusive gala held at the Llotja de Mar in Barcelona; an event that brought together 185 prominent guests from Catalan society and was attended by the entire Vendrell family, as well as the company's CEO, Daniel Rossinés.
The celebration became the ideal setting to award the prize for the winning piece of the "185th Anniversary Commemorative Jewel" competition.
Ultimately, the winning design was "Trilogía," the creative proposal by Pia Capdevila, a ring designed to be worn every day, paying homage to Unión Suiza's 185 years of history, reinterpreting the values of elegance and timelessness with an eye towards the future.
Trilogía will become part of Unión Suiza's jewelry collection, and 10% of its sales price will be donated to the Sant Joan de Deu foundation.

A WEEK DEDICATED TO WATCHMAKING EXCELLENCE
From October 8th to 15th, Unión Suiza had the honor of hosting the Patek Philippe travelling exhibition at our boutique, an exclusive exhibition that brought together an exceptional selection of pieces representative of the prestigious Geneva manufacture.
A journey through its most emblematic lines: from the Grand Complications and Complications, reflecting the technical mastery of the house, to the timeless elegance of Calatrava and the harmonious proportion of Golden Elipse. The art deco style of Gondolo, the sporty design of Nautilus and the modernity of Aquanaut completed an exceptional journey, along with Twenty-4, the ultimate ladies' collection.

Press conference for the celebration of the 185th anniversary of Unión Suiza
This 2025 we celebrate 185 years of history.
We're commemorating this with a unique competition in which four creative leaders—Pia Capdevila, Lídia Masllorens, Nandu Jubany, and Teresa Helbig—will explore our essence through their respective disciplines: interior design, art, gastronomy, and fashion.
Their proposals will take shape thanks to jeweler Adàn Rafael Barbero, a collaborator of the firm, who will transform them into commemorative jewels full of meaning.
On Thursday, March 8, we presented the project to the press at an inspiring event that celebrated the artistry, emotion, and commitment that make this initiative possible.
